Doh, actually, I don't know. I think the one near New Street. Reading through the original DFW meet thread that seemed to be the popular choice. In the OP of this thread I put a link to what I think is the Shakespeare pub. Gingerste,......HELP!

I was going to ask that - I didn't imagine that the meeting place would be the one on concourse at New Street station!

is that the one by the college? or the one by that cool shoe shop?
Watch this space.... Will update soon!

    Hi All

Can I come please? Birmingham is local for me (I work in Birmingham and I live a 15-20 train ride away)

What is the plan for the day as I want to bring DS and OH with me? It is my weekend to have DS (he is 13) so I don't want to leave him at home really while I go off and enjoy myself! This means I won't be staying late but I would love to meet everyone.
Right on:beer: Get yourself there. Lenny

Right Venue, the Shakespeare nearest to New Street station would appear to be the one that has been chosen. I believe there is a Wetherspoons near to New Street as well, so maybe this could be a better alternative as they have a good range of beverages, including tea and coffee, reasonably priced food and of course the drink is cheap. Would anyone object to changing the meeting point???? Nothing like being decisive eh.

wetherspoons would suit me as we really like the food - we go to the one in Tamworth when we fancy a treat!

not sure of the location - I've looked at multimap and I can't quite picture it. I will have a look at my A-Z when I get home.
