Well, I-A kinda put in there because her and hubby cannot make it. I think that we should meet up at the pre-arranged meeting spot (the shakespeare) and we could decide then. I-A has said she is happy for everyone to come round; mind you she was probably on the pop:D. If we do, I need to figure a 'were to park 'mi car plan'. What do you think?

lenny do you know the train times/prices to ia's and back before i guess 11.30pm? The problem is me and sarahs already booked a hotel and i know its not much (well to some) but looking at all angles it may be 'difficult'. if you work it out either way ~
    1) go to ia's then go back to hotel = Could miss the last train back to b'ham and we are stranded. Could get to b'ham after the hotels closed. Price for tickets each way
    2) go to ia's and stay = Lose hotel money (and piggy points). Miss train back to b'ham in the morning and then miss our conecting trains home (mine are fixed tickets and one way would cost double the price of the return).

I am not trying to be akward and i would love to go to ia's but maybe we could make it the afternoon thing? Ie meet up at the pub then go to ia's? or maybe split? in the evening?

Hey up 'mi little papster, aye I know you're right, I have a similar dilemma. I'll be booking the hotel tomorrow or Thurs and the meet is about meeting everyone. So I guess we could stick with the plan of meeting as planned in the afternoon, do the thang then either stay in Brum for the evening and/or go to I-As on the evening. I love I-A and would love to meet her but, the best things come to those who wait and there will be another meet. Whatever we do I have to plan 'mi life. What a wonderful offer from I-A though (don't think she knows what she MAY be letting herself in for :). We need some ZTD zen on this one don't we. But anyway, how are you? Can't believe we are all gonna meet on Saturday (4 days). Hope you don't tell me off like you used to do in the good old days ;). Where are you and Sarah staying? Or would you rather not say. Lenny

hi lenny. Yes i would love to me ia.. she is insperation to everyone and just to meet her in the flesh ~ it would be like meeting the queen hehe. But i am being completely honest now i have only ever been to one other place alone (ie with no one else) and i hated it. Just going to b'ham is a big thing for me let alone trapsing another few miles somewhere else. If however this was decided/planned before we had booked the hotels etc i would be well up for it as i would be 'ready' for it if that makes sense. Yes we need ztd to get his zen on it. I know i can see mi sailor boy on saturday ;) shame mr rog couldnt make it :o I am good hun, dunno if you have caught my thread/the congrats one but i passed my driving test today :shhh: dont want this turned into a huge thread about it. But yes and i payed off my 0% debt today so i am somewhat on cloud nine. Ohhh the telling off ;) i remember them all so well :rotfl:i remember my first party with you guys that was mad. You would be glad to know i have chilled a little but any stripping from all of you i am heading to the little girls room ;) Nah i cant wait ~ after all i have to thank you for helping me lose over 1 stone :D I am sure sarah wont mind ~ we are staying in the express inn (i think) just around the corner from the station  xx

How 'bout we have a party at Penkridge Station on Saturday night, so we don't miss the last train back to Brum!

:rotfl:I-A could busk and we could make money. Hey ste, I'm setting off from up here at 0600 on Sat, gonna go straight to the hotel and then into to town. I reckon I'll arrive no later than 1300. What time does everyone else intend pitching up?

  • Right I'll leave it up to you guys... you're more than welcome over and I'll pm lenny my mobile and address.. I usually get home from work at 6.. the last train from Penkridge to Brum new street is about 10.31 and the station is about a 10-15 min walk from ours at a drunkards pace..
    Fare is usually £6 single.
would be great to see you guys but obviously if it's going to be awkward we'll just have to start organising another summer meet when you get back ;)
