Lol, I like your thinking. The only thing is, don't you have to be on the show for days and days sometimes before you get picked?

Hope you get on though - let us know if you do!

  • Thanks for that. I live quite near Bristol so have applied to be in the audience!!! If that goes OK I might take the plunge to apply to be a contestant (stressful or what!)

yeah but i think they film 3 shows a day so it's 2 days a week but you can be there weeks before you get on! I live very close to bristol though so it wouldnt be too bad. anyway I bet thousands apply and i wont even get an audition but fingers crossed!!

statistically you have to be there for 22 shows to get picked, which isnt a bad way to spend 3 weeks of your life if it doesnt cost you anything to be there. Im not a game show fan but that is one I would theoretically like to go on.

And they DO pay for a 'hotel' whilst you are there. I used to do the 'on-line' competition entry (max 30 entries per day) - all I got was 'inundated by spam'.
I was an avid watcher of the programme - I also watch the Italian version - until the premium rate phone-line 'scam' was exposed. Shame really - it is a good show, and Noel Edmonds (Endomol) comperes it well.
    Good luck, anyway.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
