If you need a duplicate birth certificate for example, don't use one of the online companies as they can charge to betweem £20 and £90 depending on the service. Just contact the issuing register office directly if you know which one and a new certificate will be posted within 5 days for just £7.00 (normally a £40 service with the aforementioned sites)! :money:

You don't need to know the issuing office, order them directly on line from the central London office.
Even if you don't have fulld etails you can go to London and search the records and then order a certificate when you find the right one.
Great service as well especially for those doing family history research as you can order whatever certificates you want for anyone you care to ask about.
