ACR Group - CCA Response

Hi Everyone

I sent out CCA requests this week for my lenders.

ACR Group came back to me with the following? They haven't attached the agreements or anything signed by me.

Is this enforcable?

It's not a compliant credit agreement, is it?

So I would say not enforceable

Their response also indicates that they don't understand the Consumer Credit Act. Not your job to educate them. Hopefully Payplan will understand why you want to stop paying Klarna.

I thought this! What’s the best course of action? This is the first response I get from one the letters so not sure what to do

Tell Payplan it's unenforceable and you want them taken out of the plan.

This Klarna debt, was it originally a pay in 3 type debt?

Yes, I believe so. Why? Does it make any difference? This has been in a payment plan for about 18 months now so I can’t remember

I  dont think klarna pay in 3s are consumer credit act agreements, and so there may be no CCA agreement to produce.

Klarna does have some longer term lending which has an interest rate and is definitely a CCA agreement.
