Tesco bank loan timeout

So I applied for a loan from Tesco bank on Sunday. Very simple process which was helpful, was informed I have 30 days to complete I thought that is great.

So I went back today to find the website timeout when i wanted to log in and it informed me I could not complete online.

I since called and was informed quote "the website time outs if you leave it to many days" i then asked where does it inform the customer this as it states I have 30 days and they replied "Oh I know as a customer service rep" which is extremely unhelpful for customers and horrendous customer service so a loan I hoped to have within a few days may now take weeks. because their website times out and is glitchy apparently. 

Has anyone else had these issues?

Other people will have had that issue, tens, if not hundreds of thousands of people have experience with Tesco bank loans, neither of those are relevant questions. 

Why not just start the application from the beginning again and complete it one go?

I was informed if i did that it would be flagged as suspicious in the system and it would not allow me to complete the application without providing paperwork therefore delaying the process. Also due to the fact I have had a hard search done by Tesco they will likely offer me a much higher rate of finance.

Have they said how long it would take to approve via other means?

Most lenders ignore their own hard searches, I also doubt it would be much higher, though it might be another 1% or something around that if anything, as they would be able to see no loan was granted.
