How on earth do you keep up with advents and then those on normal board too

I skip most of the Instagram ones so that cuts it down!

I bookmarked the advents that I'm likely to want to enter each day, where possible (again avoiding the IG ones!)

I don't do Instagram, so that coupled with weeding out ones I'm not interested in or are local things cuts it down to about a dozen, of which maybe half will be offering something I'm interested in each day.  Couple that with a script I wrote that highlights comps I've ticked and fades out ones I've crossed then the whole process is pretty speedy.

I'm not on social media so every IG, FB, TW/X etc. post is marked skipped.

Any RS or Gleam comps are also skipped as are any that require the use of apps.

Any that are only coupon codes rather than prizes behind the doors (for Advent comps) are marked skipped.

Any comps with prizes I have no interest in or prizes such as energy drinks and other such junk are skipped.

Any comps that have app "consultations" as prizes are skipped.

Any comps that offer holidays without flights are skipped.

Any comps that involve spinning a wheel or playing games are skipped.

That makes it all much more manageable.

Several of those are obvious from the posts, social media etc, but some start with a good prize, then go on to coupon codes and then another good prize at day 15/24.

Easy - I've skipped most of them this year (don't do IG etc) so its taking me only a few mins to do them at the moment.

I only really look at the brands I recognise, skipping over most of them, and check the 'advents over £100' thread.

I'm not too patient with them.... if I've done about 3 days of an Advent calendar and found nothing that interests me, I delete it from my bookmarks.  I know there is a risk that I'll miss out on something later on in the month, but at that point I don't really care  😁😁   

Also I have no patience with sites that take too long to load, or are too much faff to actually find the day's offering... so they get deleted too!  

So I guess my only tip for coping with the Advents is... be ruthless and cull the annoying ones 😁
