Do you have one? If so what do you use it for? I use mine for fuel mainly for credit score rating but thinking do i really need one 🤔

Absolutely everything I can - paid off in full by DD. I get cashback. Also the longer the money stays in my bank account the longer savings can stay in savings & the more interest I get. However, before I had savings I didn't use the card unless the money was already in the bank account to pay it as that would be dangerous & way too easy.0

Your question might be better posted on the dedicated credit card board rather than this one, but yes, there are a range of reasons for use, including cashflow management, cashback/rewards, and section 75 protection.

I use mine for everything. I have not used cash for six years and was nearly cashless for several years before that. I do not use my debit card, it stays at home, everything is paid for on cashback credit cards, usually via Google Wallet on my phone. Cards are cleared in full every month so I never pay interest, I can audit my spending any time I want and my debit card details are never exposed online or in person.0

We use one card almost exclusively for all the day to day payments. We have another that has no fees if used outside the UK so that is left for holidays. Everything is cleared in full each month.
CCs are handy as well for the purchase protection they give.

As a point credit score rating means nothing to anyone but the CRA & the other mainly rubbish they push about utilisation etc.Life in the slow lane0 -
I have two. I use them for 99% of my purchases (I’m not using them for the 30p coffee machine at work…). I get cash back. Paid off fully.0
