Orphaned Plan 2 Student Loan

I posted this question once, but maybe it could get its own thread, as it might be overlooked in the existing thread, which is already a year old.
I'm a Plan 2, former PGCE Student, with a student loan. I failed that course. I did a degree course first.

I am 61 and don't plan to try again or go back to work. What happens to my loan?
Without a job, I cannot pay it off.

The point of getting a degree was to give me a better chance of getting a job. I easily graduated with a first, but I have applied for several jobs and never even received a reply. I feel now it is not even worth trying.

When will my student loan get written off? When I am 90? What if I die before then?

Thanks. I am really interested to see if anyone will answer.
