I retire last year 65
Wife 17 years younger, so not retiring any time soon.
I have a db pension of £8600, 150k in a dc pension
With a 4% ish drawdown and the state pension I will have a net monthly income of about £2000
My monthly expenses are £1600 inc holidays....
Mortgage paid off
So, with £50k in savings..... hopefully comfortable.....
Comfortable....is the key.
And comfortable is obviously different for everyone..
There are forum members here who will have a much, much larger income than me.....
Also a few with less....
My opinion.
If you have enough to cover your expenses, and a safety net to cover the unexpected.
You should have a comfortable and stress free retirement....

Retiring at 62 could not be described as too early, many go earlier or as soon as they can in fact. But it would be an important factor if it meant having a reduced pension by taking it early.
Doing some more work as a private tutor or freelance makes a lot of sense if you will enjoy doing it. Makes use of your valuable skills, keeps you engaged, brings a little money in.A little FIRE lights the cigar0 -
I am mostly retired with a total income under £20k and lead a perfectly good life. You'll be fine, assuming you've done a budget, looked at your expenditure and worked out how you'll spend your time as well as your money.1
