ACI UK - Sent Prove It Letter - Still getting calls.

Morning All,
Recently I received a letter from ACI-UK Stating that I owe £568 to HSBC.
I have no recall of this debt owed and nothing is showing on my Credit Report.
This could quite possible be from my youth some 20+ years ago now!
I therefore sent a "Prove It" Letter via Royal Mail signed for 1st Class, of which was received and signed for by them this week.
This morning I had call from them, of which I let go to voicemail. The voicemail left was automated and as below, I have saved this voicemail in case its needed in the future.
"Hello, this is ACI, and we are contacting you to discuss an important matter.
You can interact with us by selecting one of the following options.
If you want to speak to a case manager, press one. To make a quick and secure payment,
press two.
Alternatively, you can visit our website where you can manage your account and make a payment"
My request for assistance is, how do I proceed with this, they have received my "Prove It" Letter.
Do I ignore their phone calls or do I engage with them?
Many Thanks

Ignore the phone calls just because the letter has been signed for doesn't mean they have taken any action on it's contents. Nothing moves fast in the debt collecting world just give them more time.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1

Average response time after receipt of a letter is 30 plus days, until then the auto dialler will still call your number, and the computer will still churn out standard collection letters, its an automated process, and ACI are not the most competent or compliant debt collector.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
