It doesn't sound like you have anything to be concerned about, I would expect any amount salary sacrificed to be shown separately on your payslip, perhaps use this opportunity to educate yourself on pensions a bit more, you won't regret it, maybe even try and educate those not contributing at all!

Sort of, but to put it in more context.

If you are not in a salary sacrifice scheme, then you now pay NI on your full salary,

If you are in a salsac scheme, you avoid paying NI on the amount on the amount you contribute to your pension. ( it is a kind of loophole being exploited) . The budget is restricting how much NI can be avoided.

So as you are not in a salary sacrifice scheme, this is a good move from the Chancellor, as it means other people will be limited to what NI they can avoid, whilst you have always had to pay the full amount.
So she is partly closing a loophole that you never benefitted from, but others do.
