Sun 09 Nov 2025 - 10:49 London Euston to Glasgow Central - On Time Trains. My train was cancelled from Stafford. I remember catching the next train on the same platform, which was heading to Crewe. What happens if I don't recall the departure timings?0

I remember catching the next train on the same platform, which was heading to Crewe. What happens if I don't recall the departure timings? From memory it asks for your original train time (10.49) and how late you were at your destination compared to the scheduled arrival in time bands. I don't think you need to put in any further details. They then look at their logs of train times that day and pay out according to their calculations of how your journey would have gone. If you disagree with their decision you can appeal, but then you would have to provide more details to justify it.

I have found some new information from trainsplit and looking to put this in my appeal: Trainsplit said I took this journey due to the cancellation: https://timetables.trainsplit.com/times.aspx?uid=W10507&date=20251109. They have also said my ticket was scanned 1:21pm (Preston) then at 4:32pm (Glasgow Central). This is over 120 minutes'. limit is 250 characters.0
