If I buy Royal Mint coins will that help with the amount of tax I will have to pay, or is it better to but from physical bullion coin dealers in London?

It will probably be cheaper NOT buying from the Mint. They do have a bullion arm so maybe worth checking the prices on there

What is the reason for wanting actual physical gold?
Have you considered the need to insure the asset and associated security costs?1 -
Some places (including the Royal Mint) will keep your gold for you. Of course you may think twice about keeping it in Hatton Garden.Grumpy_chap said:What is the reason for wanting actual physical gold?
