I cannot rate this site for quick delivery and support enough
http://www.canihave.co.uk
They have been totally amazing and even took the time to help with my daft questions.
1 x DS Linker 16G (2 Gig) = £40.00 I think that this is a real bargain! No memory card is needed for this system and there is a set up movie on you tube, which is even better than written instructions! :j
Hope this helps someone.

This looks quite good, but is expensive.
Yo can currently by a R4 and 2GB memory card for about £30, and the R4 has the advantage of being able to use additional memory cards so that you do not have to delete games every time you want to add a new game.
BTW, I think this is on the wrong thread.0 -
Where from, overseas?
risky
looking at many posts across the web a lot of non delivered items from the likes of hong kong and china
also with the R4 you need the memory card, the small memory card that kids love to lose
Just my opinion
The R4 is great but I would recommend DS linker for kids
Another alternative to the R4 is the DSOne it works the same as R4 but is capabale of using an 8gig card (R4 currently cannot)0 -
I didn't want to purchase one from overseas as I have been stung several times recently with customs charges, together with administrations charges, makes the product very expensive. My Linker came in just a couple of days from the UK.0

The linkers can hold many games too like the R4
Depending on the game a 1 gig linker will hold approx 15-20 games and a 2 gig will hold approx 30-40 so no need to delete the games unless it is full and you fancy a change
I agree that you can have a few memory cards stored with games but it only takes a a couple of minutes to take a game off and replace it with a new one
Having a few micro sd cards could also be an issue as they are small and easy to lose, also it is not recommended to keep putting memory cards in and out of a device as it can cause damage to the card
Hope this helps0 -

I too ordered a ds linker off canihave and must say that it is a fantastic item. It was delivered within 2 days of ordering and as OP says the youtube instructions are brilliant. I am by no means a computer expert but the video instructions made things simple, even for me !!!
I requested item be sent via recorded delivery and was emailed with tracking number and seller kept in touch throughout whole process
Big thumbs up from me

Hello and good bye....
Banked £480.00for christmas 20100 -
I subscribe to the NDS-Gear.co.uk newsletter and they display 8% off all cards on their homepage (which is for everyone) but they sent out a newsletter today offering 15% off ALL R4 and R4i Cards, and now that r4i.co.uk went bankrupt this might be the best deal to get them that I've found.
I won't post the big graphic from their e-mail here as that's probably spam but use the voucher code 'r4fun' at checkout. That's NDS-Gear.co.uk.
Always interested in hearing about new deals for cameras/lenses, cheap flights/holidays, and video games. PM me if you have any I haven't heard of!
