temporary contract - making pension contribs from NET salary

Hi,
I'm currently working on a fixed term contract through an employment agency (since the beginning of December) and I am having to make my pension contributions (personal stakeholder) from my NET salary which means i'm paying tax on my contributions.
I've spoken to the agency and they say that their payment system isn't set up to cope with paying my pension contribution before taxing me.
Does anyone know of a better way to do this or how I can claim the tax back on these contributions?

Basic rate tax relief is claimed by the pension provider. Any higher rate tax relief should be claimed when you fill in your tax return.

It's only company pensions that have the ability to take pension contributions before tax as far as I'm aware.
