Competition posts with TITLES IN ALL CAPS!

Not sure what anyone else thinks about this, but I find it much harder to read and comprehend post titles when they're all thread. This is presumably a result of copy-pasting from the site hosting the comp, but it's a bugbear of mine. Not sure if there's an auto-filter that can change things to sentence case, or a rule to advise people do this before posting?

Posters put a lot of time and effort into posting comps and yes it is a lot of copy & pasting. Having to type out in small letters would be too time consuming if posters were expected to have to type out all the time rather than copy & paste. Posters need time to comp themselves too and if it was expected of them to do as you suggest then I think there would be a lot less comps posted. Not everyone may be techy enough if there was an autofiller and if it was something that needed downloading not everyone would want to download it plus you would run into compatability issues depending on gadget used to post as not all posters use a pc or laptop.
I am grateful for any comps posted no matter if they are in capitals or small case letters and don't really see what difference it makes and appreciate the effort posters make so that i can enter comps.12 -
I agree with @EnglishWelshie and appreciate all the effort put in when posting comps.
Personally, I find no problems reading headings in capital letters.
There is a website called https://convertcase.net/ if anyone wants an easier way of converting capital letters to small case, but - in my opinion - there is definitely no need.7 -
Hi,
Think this may be directed at some of the comps I post. And your correct that it’s due to just copying and pasting directly from the sites I find the competitions on, primary times for example post in caps. I appreciate it may be a personal annoyance but I agree with the above comments and it would put me off posting them if I had to change all the text- I’m not that tech savvy and it would take me longer to do so for now will carry on posting as normal so I can still get them on the board.11 -
I am just grateful that people post competitions for other people. I have no problem with all capital letters. If it bothers you that much, perhaps just click on Skipped and ignore those competitions.7

Agree with the posters above, we just copy and paste. Far too time consuming to re-type everything!Wins in 2023 - 35

There's been some extremely petty threads started over the years but this one tops the lot!

I appreciate all the effort that people go to when posting comps.
I just wanted to add though that ALL CAPS can be much harder for people with Dyslexia to read.
One possible solution might be to paste into Word first then use the "Sentence case" option to change it?
I needed to do it for something I was working on and it's easy for me to do as I have two extra wide screens so can have MSE and Word open next to each other, but understand that not everyone has that sort of set up.
Thanks
