CCJ Judgement from unpaid loan

Hi all. I'm not sure if I posted this in the correct category.
Adding my questions at the top:
- Is it normal for stays to be removed and judgement entered on the same day?
- Is it normal for a judgement to be entered a second time after submitting an N244?
- On a personal note, I really feel that the solicitor begun negotiations in bad faith and if he had acted differently then I could have had an opportunity to arrange a settlement or payment plan. I admit that in the start I stopped paying as I lost my job due to Covid but all the negotiation since this was in good faith with an intention to repay the debt.
Firstly, this is a situation of my making - I hold my hands up and acknowledge it, I was trying to resolve it. I will try and make it fairly brief because the details date back a while. There is a summary of the timeline from AI, but that's because it has all the information so it was quicker to ask for the summary than do that myself. Also to note, during the conversation with the original debt collectors and subsequently the solicitor I told them I do not live in the UK and that I need contact my email as postal mail can take up to 1 month or more for me to receive it due to the Royal Mail forwarding.
I moved abroad in the beginning of 2020 and I have an unpaid loan since the end of 2020 with an outstanding balance of £8900. I tried negotiating a F&F with the original lender (Tesco bank) in 2020 and 2021 which went no where and in around 2022/3 it got passed to debt collectors. I tried to negotiate F&F with them but still it was rejected. They raised a CCJ against me (04/09/2023) and after sending income/outgoings and some back and forth with the debt collectors I agreed a low £50 which was all I could afford at the time. Originally they said that Tesco would not accept that and that they would still ask for judgement on the CCJ so I said if that's the case there's no point in me making the £50 payments and stopped. It then went cold and my final email to them in this period was asking if Tesco would pursue judgement if I was making the payments. I didn't hear from them for a long time and the case was stayed on 26/03/2024.
Fast forward to the end of 2024 and they started asking for income/outgoings again. I referred them to previous emails with the information and asked them to respond to my previous question on the payments. Eventually around 03/25 they acknowledged my £50 offer and accepted it to which I didn't reply, they sent a follow up to that 06/25 and I didn't reply. I don't recall intentionally not replying so I cannot say if this was intentional on my part or an oversight.
Then I got an email from a solicitor end of July / beginning of Aug, I realised what had happened and I begun settlement conversations with him, all in good faith of trying to arrange something. Below is the timeline since then:

- 12/09/2025: I submitted revised counter-offer

- 31/10/2025: Solicitor sent detailed email claiming I had filed an admission (I have not - MCOL shows no admission/defence/acknowledgement filed)
- 06/11/2025: I sent settlement offer: £4,500 conditional on judgment set aside by consent, expiring 13/11/2025
- No response
- 13/11/2025 17:05: Solicitor acknowledged N244 (at 5:20pm on expiry date of settlement offer) but completely ignored settlement proposal
- 17/11/2025: I sent revised settlement offer: £5,000 conditional on judgment set aside by consent, expiring 19/11/2025
- 17/11/2025: Received out-of-office reply - solicitor away until 24/11/2025, urgent matters to colleague
- 17/11/2025: I emailed colleague (Tracy Walter) with settlement proposal
