Only ever made mistake once where i forgot to put one of the "length" guides on:eek:    -luckily it was at the back and he never knew about it!!!!:D
 I've never done that - honest
I've cut OH's hair for donkeys years. His PA used to tell me she knew what type of mood I was in when I cut OH's hair. Sometimes he'd go to work with a very uneven cut (no. 2 usually) if I was really annoyed with him.
You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.
Oi you lot - please

wife had cut my hair once when I thought it was a good money saving idea with the cordless cutters. Cut the back neckline way to high and it looked really bad.
Needless to say she doesn't go anywhere near my hair now and it's left to the local barbers.I hate migraines.0 -

That did make me laugh :rotfl:
When i'm in a bad mood with hubby (& doing his hair) he normally gets a rather painful (accidental  )jab in the head with the length prongs. And he knows that I have to do around his ears with the scissors

Same here been cutting all the families hair for years. If it goes wrong no worries, just clipper the lot off and it will grow back in no time.0

I got some clippers from Netto for £2.99 last July for my dads birthday I have since give him a No 3 a few times He has saved £25 plus tips, petrol and car parking fees...Now thats what I call money saving...Dad is made up!
Ps
I do my better halfs hair...hes had hisown clippers for ages..
Dont forget tho if they complain tell them to do it themselves as they are such a perfect specamin of manhood then it will be no problem0 -
I've done my OH hair for 5 years now! He used to pay the hair 'stylist' £30 to shave it! We got some Remington Precision cordless clippers (around £20ish and it came with a 'how to cut hair' video: which I sold at a carboot for a quid!) and I do his hair now! Its really easy and look good. I'd say go for it!£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190

I did for years. Only tip is to make sure the attachment is properly on before you cut, if it falls off midway your DH would end up looking like he was just out of prison

Ok, some feedback! I bought some Nicky Clarke clippers in the Boots sale (£15) and had a go this evening. He looks a bit convict like, but very neat! It was easy... I think the only problem was I could have done with some longer length attachments since the longest was 12mm. I'll have a go with scissors on the top next time!0
