The Cartshed has been lovingly renovated from an old disused shed to a beautiful one bedroomed accessible cottage perfect for two.

Relax in the stylish open plan living space and enjoy the stunning views of surrounding fields from the impressive feature window.

The pretty bedroom is a peaceful haven with super-comfy, super-kingsize bed which can be made up as singles if preferred. Guests will wake up refreshed and ready for the day ahead!

The Cartshed features a modern, spacious wetroom with level access throughout and is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering stay. All bedding and towels are provided and there is WiFi and plenty of parking too.

Burradon Farm Houses & Cottages are located in a tranquil spot on a working farm and are super close to all major routes so are the perfect place to enjoy exploring the gorgeous Northumberland coast and countryside or simply take in some of the lovely local walks and cycle routes straight from the door.

It’s time to switch off and get away from it all! Take advantage of the peaceful surroundings, visitor attractions and beautiful scenery – they look forward to welcoming you.

Only one entry per person. 

Applicants must be 18 years or over. 

You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Visit Northumberland for the purposes of administering the competition and for other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.

Closing date for entry is: Midnight Sunday 28th December 2025.

The winner will be chosen on week commencing: Monday 5th January 2026.

The winner will be the first name drawn at random from all entries.  

Date Restrictions: Stay to be taken by 30th June 2026. Arrival any day except Sunday. Prize cannot be taken during school holiday periods.

The prize consists of: a two night stay for up to two guests in The Cartshed – a brand new self-catering cottage. Dates will be subject to availability

Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. 

The winners will be responsible for their own transport to and around Northumberland.

Additional beverages, meals, snacks and extra facilities are not included in the prize package.
