OnePoll - Not a good experience, would not recommend

I like doing surveys, so via MSE I signed up for most of them listed and in the past couple of years had good experiences with all of them but... Recently OnePoll blocked/locked my account with no notice. I just couldn't login and it said my account was blocked. Given I had over £14 towards the £20 withdrawn minimum, I made contact to ask why my account had been blocked and what I should do about it.
I will summarise...
So not a great experience, and I would not recommend.
Just my 2p, your mileage may vary.
I will summarise...
- They said there was unusual and fraud activity on my account - but would not tell me what that unusual and fraudulent activity was.
- They said I had to prove who I was to unblock the account but were not clear about how I was to do this.
- I sent a copy of my driving licence (so photo ID and address prove all in one) but they said it was not acceptable as I was not holding it.
- I sent a photo of me holding my driving licence but still they said this was unacceptable and offered no suggestions as to have I could prove who I was.
- After investigation my complaint was upheld.
- But no answers or evidence were proved as to why I was accused of fraud.
- My account was reinstated and I was allowed to withdraw the credit balance.
- Perhaps as goodwill, about £6 was credited to my account and my withdraw was the usual £20.
So not a great experience, and I would not recommend.
Just my 2p, your mileage may vary.

Had that happen to me three times! Each time no explanation given and a hassle to get reinstated. And always within a few quid of cashing out. Don’t bother now! Too much hassle over usually quite silly surveys.0
