If the OP manages to register a Ltd Company all by himself, the next thing he needs is an accountant. He'll never manage to work out what should be in his company accounts, never mind file them.

Please, please OP, go with an Umbrella Company and be their employee.

    Hi,
Just today been offered a 6 month contract for electronics engineering. They want to know the name of my Ltd Company. I dont have one. How do  i get one?
I am doing research  whilst posting this but still not found out yet.

Maybe i could register as a Sole Trader instead?....is that easier /quicker.?...i think they may withdraw their offer if i am not registered as a Sole Trader or if i dont have a Limited Company.

If the Client requires you to have a Ltd Co., then that is what you need to do to secure this contract.
Contact a local Accountant and ask them to sort this out for you and to advise on how you can most efficiently manage your business accounts to comply with all the rules without incurring excessive expense.
A local Accountant will be able to set up your Ltd Co. very swiftly.

In addition to the Ltd Co. for this new contract, you need to register as Sole-Trader for the 11-day contract you recently completed elsewhere.

Check out https://www.contractoruk.com/ for a lot of good info on contracting, how to set up a Ltd. company, insurance, bank accounts, etc.

It's really not difficult, although from seeing some of your previous posts you do tend to ask a lot of basic questions in these forums rather than actually googling things first, and then only asking if something's really not clear.

Is this 6-month contract that requires the OP to have a Ltd Co. in addition to the new job (which seems to be PAYE ? ) starting in 3 (now 2 ? ) weeks' time?

I guess the OP needs to choose one or the other and cannot do both.

Only if this Client will trade with Sole-Traders.
