Pinecone refusing to pay for fully completed surveys

Anyone else having this issue? Pinecone used to be the best of the survey companies, but recently they are refusing to pay up.

My last two surveys, I have spent 15-20 minutes each answering detailed questions on multiple products per survey. I have reached the end of the survey, and a thank you for participating screen, but then no points arrive. When I contact support, they just say I was screened out and not suitable for the survey.

I can understand being screened out after a few initial questions, but after 20 minutes and a full survey this seems a bit much. What is the incentive to take any more, having wasted a lot of time for nothing?

This used to the the trick of the more dodgy companies, I expected more of Pinecone.

Anyone else experience this?

Just completed a survey myself with them, no issues.  Are you using a different browser or something?

On one occasion (not recent) I was screened out after answering a lot of questions, which was annoying, but I've done dozens of their surveys and all the rest have been fine.  I've given up on surveys with other companies, but I continue with Pinecone as I find it better than the rest - although 99% of the products they ask me about are things that I wouldn't dream of buying!

I've also noticed similar with Pinecone recently, complete the survey to get to the end only for it to throw back a "Sorry Survey closed" error. They are getting worse in my eyes, especially with some of the rewards (i.e 300 points for a "70 minute" survey involving a TV show).

Certainly getting to the point to ditching my account as it's not worth the hassle. Especially as it looks like they have cut down the rewards, I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they change the rewards system so you can't cash out until reaching '2000 points'.

I think Pinecone has gone sharply downhill with its recent revamp, unfortunately. I was offered a survey for 100 points (=£1) with them today which I have never experienced before, as they always paid a standard £3 per survey. I clicked through and was told the survey was closed - again, I haven't had that before with this company.

I think its time to leave, spent 15 minutes on a 100 point survey yesterday only to be screened out.

I wonder if the points/pounds structure has changed, the email about hte new site never suggested any change but shortly they wouldn't go from a standard £3 to the same old **** as other survey sites.

I've had "Sorry Survey Closed" come up before when clicking on the link within the email (and sent out various reminders) but certainly has got worse.

@sammyjammy they wouldn't have wanted to release that sort of info up front about changing the reward structure (so you need a min of £10 to cash out rather than £3) with a reduction in the rewards offered. Quite frankly it ain't worth the hassle any more, weighing up the pros & cons.

I had the 75pts for 25min survey, that makes it less than £2. per hour! Now the worst paying survey site. Shame as it used to be good and a variety of vouchers.

If the next survey I get the pts are low, I will be contacting them to say it is not worth my time, if everyone does this and refuse to complete their surveys this will cause them big problems. Would like to know what these sites get paid for all this info, bet they increase their charges every year, but we don't get anymore pts, majority of times it goes down. Ipsos was the same, lowered the pts paid out, so quit doing their surveys.
