No Default on credit but a threat of CCJ

  • Thank you ManyWays. I will send it off and see what they say. I do remember them sending the default notice but I was waiting for a default on file before I agreed to any payment plans as I was trying to avoid AP markers on my credit.

    A default on your credit file has nothing legally to do with getting a Default Notice, although in practice they often happen at roughly the same time. If you have been sent a Default Notice, the creditor can go to court for a CCJ.
