Debts & Defaults

Thanks again Smudge.
I reasonably comfortable with my plan outlined above (gulp), but I absolutely want to avoid any CCJ's or bailiffs at my door. Is there any chance of that happening if I stick to the plan of defaulting and making monthly payments?0 -
I think that although some of those numbers look high (not the groceries or the clothes! mainly the life insurance) you will be unable to manage as the 0%s end. So there is little point in trying to avoid defaults, the sooner the better.
The 2 Natwest loans, the lendable loans and the MBNA look like good places to start affordability complaints

Thanks ManyWays. How do I approach the affordability complaints? Letter, email, call? Can I still contact MBNA even though they've sold the debt? Sorry for the questions, I'm a newbie to all this.0

Email, the advise is not to try doing this by phone.
You complain to the lender, not any debt collector, if you win the complaint and the lender will sort out the reduced balance with the debt collector.
