I understand that, but part of the process is verifying and accepting your application. Number assigned somewhere and as you say next step is the envelope.Not sure at what point it goes public online0

I think the ridiculous thing is that even after “ rigorous checks” ( a vat number isn’t a certainty until you’ve given them all you personal and business details ) it can be hijacked.
