Loan to 0% credit card transfer

I'm currently paying £170a month on a personal loan the loan ends I 12 months. I would like to transfer it to a 0% credit card over 24 or 36 months to reduce my monthly payments, can this be done?

Comments

  • Only if you get a card offering 0% on money transfers - you transfer to your personal account then pay the loan off.

As above, you'd need a Money Transfer card, you can't use a BT or Purchase card for this.  Remember to factor in the transfer fee, and ensure you'll be able to clear the card in full when the promotional rate expires.
Assuming you can get a card with a sufficient credit limit, of course.
