Absolutely. But as I said in my first post, I need a chunk of this money in the next 1-2 years, and it's only just reached the target. I can't afford to have a large crash in the short term, possibly needing a few years to recover, so am considering ways to protect it.Albermarle said:

I would say that for times when money is needed within a 5 year investment horizon equity investments are probably not the right place. I would go for something with a lot lower volatility like cash.Also a LISA might be worth considering if your daughters purchase meets the criteria.0
