Three days of amazing open water swimming and swimrun adventures, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Lake District, with an event village full of activities for everyone.

The Great North Swim offers swimmers a range of distances for all abilities, from a 250m to a 10km swim and lots of distances in between!

Terms & conditions: The bed and breakfast prize is based on two people sharing a suite for two nights at Cedar Manor and includes breakfast the following morning. The prize is only valid for stays commencing on 11 or 12 June 2026, is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for a cash value. Outdoor Swimmer competition terms and conditions: Competitions are open to readers of Outdoor Swimmer Magazine. Employees, sub-contractors or contributors are not allowed to enter. Entries must be received by 30 November 2025. Outdoor Swimmer magazine cannot take responsibility for lost or delayed entries. Only one entry per person (multiple entries will be disqualified). A list of winners will be available on request. There is no cash alternative. The judges’ decision is final. Submission of entry will be taken as acceptance of these rules.
