You might want to review how you come across in written comms if you truly believe you weren't being snippy. It won't help job applications if you're unaware of the tone of the written word. "I'd prefer not to disclose personal info" would have been a perfectly reasonable response.HughJands said:I wanted to check to be sure. I'm not being snippy in the slightest, I just want to keep my business to myself. Good to know that this is not the place to come in future

Your belittling of those trying to help you is extremely rude. If you take that attitude into job interviews and the workplace, you won't get very far. It's probably a good idea that you don't come back with that attitude.HughJands said:I wanted to check to be sure. I'm not being snippy in the slightest, I just want to keep my business to myself. I needed financial advice and I was told this would be a good place to come and ask. I forget however that humans still roam these forums, and you will always do your best to belittle anyone you can at any time

...and they would be able to explain to OP that although they can't withdraw the funds from NEST given they are only 50, there may be a way to use those funds to help establish a fledging business (but of course we don't know if that's the way OP plans to go, so not worth expanding on something on a 'just in case' basis).QrizB said:HughJands said:I needed financial advice and I was told this would be a good place to come and ask.No-one here will give you financial advice.
