Old Charging order and bankruptcy

My husband went bankrupt in 2007 but has 2 charging orders that were put on prior to the bankruptcy. The house was jointly owned (mortgaged) and the debts were solely in his name. We are now looking to sell the house these orders were put on. We have tried to negotiate a lower payment on one (HSBC) and they would only entertain a nominal reduction. They wanted 95% of the debt repaid. The other CO was with Tesco finance and we cannot get hold of them. We have contacted Tesco but there isn’t a department that has any idea of this historic debt and the references don’t tally with their records. Both these CO’s were listed on the bankruptcy order (only my husband went bankrupt). Now we are trying to sell does anyone have advice about a) getting hold of Tesco and b) negotiating a better term for repayment? Thanks
