Asda opticians

Has anyone bought children’s frames for adults at Asda opticians? I was told today their policy is adults can’t buy children frames. They have a petite range in the adult frames but I didn’t like any of them, plus the ones I chose were the exact same size as the ones I already have so could be classed as adult frames. I was more than happy to pay ‘adult’ prices for the children’s frames but it seems that wasn’t an option. They preferred to turn away a customer who was going to buy three frames with all the trimmings - not the best way to do business. Interested to know if others have had a similar experience.
