MSE Forum Poll: Is it too early for the festive meal deals?

For some meal deal fans, it's the best time of the year! The usual offerings are being replaced with this year's selection of creative Christmas alternatives.
Christmas dinner sandwiches, pulled pork wraps, brie and cranberry baguettes and sides of pigs in blankets in pastry. There's weird combinations and old favourites to enjoy from your lunchtime shop of choice.
...Except it's October!!!
Do you think it's too early for retailers to be rolling out their Christmas Meal Deals? Or do you think now's the time to release the festive fun?

Mince pies were available in September.
I went into Morrisons on boxing day to buy Stollen. I was told there was none because Christmas was over.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

I’ll eat turkey sandwiches, Brie and cranberry and pigs in blankets all year round.0

The shops all decorated for Christmas but we still haven't had Halloween, remembrance day and firework night.
Then the clocks go back.
Honestly I'm beginning not to know what time of year it isI can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

I only eat turkey in a meal deal sandwich, wouldn't have it for Christmas dinner. But I get very excited to see the festive meal deals. Although my local boots, the offering were quite boring. They have had the same fillings for the past 10 years. Time for a revamp.0

Did you do that in the wrong order on purpose?twopenny said:The shops all decorated for Christmas but we still haven't had Halloween, remembrance day and firework night.

Clocks go back, Halloween ( but who really cares?) Fireworks night then Remembrance SundayRational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.
(Wisdom, Courage, Self-control, Justice)
Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0
