Non Standard Construction Remortgage

Hi all
i'm a few months away from my first remortgage and wonder if non standard construction houses (ex-council concrete build) are acceptable to many high street lenders for remortgaging? Current mortgage is with Aldermore due to a CCJ on file at the time but that has since dropped off and my credit file is very good - am hoping to get a reasonable remortgage rate - does anyone have any info/experience with this? thanks in advance

More and more lenders are not lending on concrete builds so I would not advise purchasing one. Even if you find one, it may not be re-mortgageable in the future. Try nationwide and Aldermore if you really want to go ahead. If they don't work then the last resort lenders such as Together Money but they charge very high rates and fees.1

Lenders will lend on them. Just double check criteria beforehand and you should be fine.
