Baxter's French Onion Soup £1 in Morrisons

Oh my days I haven't French Onion for 40 years and my wife says they have it on offer at Morrisons. I bought 3 tins today and had some for tea and it was Scrum-diddly-umptious if a little on the sweet side. I had it with a toasted ciabata roll filled with grated cheese and corned beef. Do yourself a favour. I'm off down Morrisons tomorrow to grab another 6 tins 😁👍

  • I love it. I now make my own version…it’s gorgeous.
on Baxter’s or home made I recommend laying tiny squares of cheese on toast on top of it! One of our favourite lunches😋

It makes a good gravy base too.
  • That’s a good find. Tesco is selling it for £2 right now.
