PCN - Smart Parking - I keep getting the same reply
Hi all,
I’m hoping someone can help. I received a PCN from Smart Parking stating that I didn’t pay enough for my stay. I appealed and provided proof of my £2.50 payment (bank transaction) along with a photo of the parking fees.
They’ve since rejected my appeal, claiming I stayed for 168 minutes but only paid for 120 — even though I paid for up to 4 hours. I appealed again, but they sent the exact same rejection letter.
I’m unsure whether I should just pay or if it’s worth continuing to appeal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

There is no appeals system.
Their modus operandi is to refuse all appeals. send tickets to DCB Legal, who then make a county court claim and then discontinue if you defend.
So just ignore and come back if you receive a Letter Before Claim from DCB Legal. Ignore all the nonsense debt collection letters in between.4 -

I did reply to you yesterday on another thread but couldn't tell if you are too late to show evidence about the signs to the IAS.
Here's what was said on the other thread:

Why did you do that? You can't appeal twice to the PPC. If your evidence is as you say it is (the sign said 4 hours cost £2.50?) you should have won at the IAS kangaroo court.
Obviously nobody pays any PPC, all the time this 'scam' industry remains unregulated!
I don't know why posters even suggest that as a thought. I've deleted it from the above quote, as that question doesn't bear a reply!
Have you read the MSE Guide? Where does Martin Lewis tell you to pay? He doesn't.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
