Help on opos issues .. is it a scam 🤔

Im  having issues from OPOS having letters and emails saying i owe money but have never used this company or had anything from them via a credit company 

I've sent 2 x prove it emails and keep getting this back from them ......

Im at the end of my tether , can anyone advise what to do next as I've noticed on this forum any logging in via portal or calling them just makes it worse 🫤🫤

I posted this in the opos thread but was advised to post a new thread for some advice here , apologies im new at this just would love some help 🙏🙏

     I would not be giving them information they probably don't have, they are on a fishing trip.

    well until they send the information, they can't prove you owe anything.

    Stop contacting them. It's just encouraging them.

    Its called a "prove-it letter" for good reason.

    An email could potentially come from anyone, a letter, once its entered the postal system, is legally deemed to be from the sender, which is why we advise sending a letter, and not an email, in response to debt collection companies fishing expeditions.

    Its important to do things in the correct manner, especially where debt is concerned.
