Entries open at 16:30PM on 6th October 2025 and will close at 00:00AM on 2nd November 2025 (the Promotion Period). Any entries received after this date will not be considered.

The Competition is only open to UK residents who are over 18.

No employees, their families, or agencies of the Promoters are eligible to enter.

No purchase is necessary to enter.

The Promoters have the right to withdraw the offer at any time without notice in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

By entering the Competition, the entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

How to Participate

Entries to this Competition must be made by submitting the online entry form provided here, during the Promotion Period, and providing the entrant’s first name, last name and email address.

Internet access and a valid email address are required.

Only entries that have been completed correctly and in full will be entered into the Competition. The Promoters accept no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

Entries through agents or third parties, including entries which are automatically generated by computer; completed by third parties or in bulk; illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; photocopies and not originals; or are incomplete, will not be accepted.

Only one entry per email address is permitted and the first entry submitted by each email address will be accepted to take part in the Competition in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, and any subsequent entries will be disallowed.

The Promoters reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of the Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Terms and Conditions.

Selection of the Winner

There will be one (1) winner of the Prize (as defined in clause 15 below).

The Winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

The Prize

The Prize available to be won is made up of:

a £500 holidaylodges.co.uk voucher; and

Chococo indulgence bundle including a Hug Mug, award-winning 72% dark hot chocolate flakes, an autumn collection chocolate box, and a rich chocolate brownie; and

The holidaylodges.co.uk voucher is valid for new bookings only and must be redeemed within 12 months of the issue date. The holiday itself can be taken at any time, subject to availability. Full voucher terms and conditions can be viewed here.

All parts of the Prize are subject to availability and if part of a Prize is no longer available due to circumstances beyond the applicable Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the part of the Prize with another of equivalent or greater monetary value. There is no cash alternative to the Prize. All parts of the Prize are non-refundable and non-transferable. All parts of the Prize can only be redeemed by the Winner and must not be sold on.

Notification of the Winner and receipt of the Prize

The Winner of the Prize will be notified by the email address provided with the competition entry no later than 5pm on Friday 7th November 2025 (Notification Date). The Winner must confirm that they accept the Prize and be happy to share a delivery postal address for the Chococo bundle and Bantam book bundle, by 5pm on Friday 14th November 2025.

In respect of the holidaylodges.co.uk voucher prize, a correspondent at holidaylodges.co.uk will reach out to the Winner and will send the voucher to them via email following successful notification.

In respect of the Chococo bundle and Bantam book bundle these will be delivered to the postal address provided, following successful notification of the Prize. The applicable Promoter will not be responsible for failure to deliver part of the Prize should a postal address be provided incorrectly.  

The Promoters will not be liable for parts of the Prize which are lost, delayed or damaged for reasons beyond their reasonable control, or any additional expenses that may be incurred by the Winner in relation to the Competition or their Prize.

The Promoters will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winner. If the applicable Promoter is unable to contact the Winner or the Winner has not provided the Promoter with their address in order for the Promoter to deliver the applicable part of Prize, then the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement Winner in accordance with clause 14 above.

The Promoters’ decision is final and binding in all respects in relation to entrants and the Promoters will not enter into any further correspondence.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoters, their agents, suppliers, distributors, officers, directors, employees and shareholders will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winners, or to accept any liability for any loss or damage of whatever nature and howsoever arising, or for personal injury or death occurring as a result of your participation in the Competition or the Winner taking up the Prize, except where injury or death is caused by the negligence of a Promoter. Your statutory rights are not affected.

All Competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoters will become the property of the Promoters on receipt.

The Winner’s surname and county of residence can be requested for a period of one month after the Notification Date by writing to the Promoters at the addresses provided at the bottom of this document and stating the name and date of the Competition. If the Winner does not want their surname and county included on the list of Winners referred to above they must notify us within a reasonable period of time, of no more than 2 weeks after the Notification Date.

Data Protection

Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will be used by the Promoters for the purposes of administering and fulfilling the Competition, and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Entrant’s personal data will be treated in accordance with the Promoters’ privacy policies at all times. You can read The Travel Chapter Limited’s privacy statement, Chococo’s privacy statement and Bantam’s privacy statement.

Where you have indicated your consent to receiving communications from the Promoters about their products, special offers, promotions and services as part of entering the Competition, your email address will be added to the Promoters’ email lists and processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and the Promoters’ privacy statements set out above. You can opt out at any time.

The Promoters will make available the surname and county of the Winner to anyone who contacts the Promoters asking for this information within one month of the Notification Date. If the Winner objects to their surname and / or county being published or made available they should notify the Promoters of this when responding to the notification email to claim their Prize. In such circumstances the Promoters must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if and when requested, to indicate that a valid award took place under the Competition.

General

The Promoters reserves the right to cancel or amend these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of the Promoters’ control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoters.

The Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

The successful Winner may be asked to participate in publicity arising out of the Competition.

Should the Competition be cancelled or varied by the Promoters at their discretion if reasonably required to do so, the Promoters shall not be liable for any loss of money or expense incurred by entrants or the Winner.

Except as specifically set out herein and to the maximum extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law are hereby excluded. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the Promoters’ liability for death or personal injury caused by their staff’s negligence or for fraud or for any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law or regulation.

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) or any other social network.
