How to check if one is registered for Class 2 NICs?

I was about to send my Self Assesment for 24-25, but I was assaulted by a doubt at the last screen. It tells me my Class 2 NICs are treated as having paid (I've earned around 8000 profit), but it tells me;
"If you've registered for Class 2 NICs, your contributions have been treated as paid"
That makes me think I can't remember registering specifically for that. Last year I submitted my Self-Assesment, and earned under the 6000 odd threshold. I also registered at the same time for being Self Employed.
But now I cannot see anyway in the Government Gateway to check if I am registered for Class 2 NICs. I was thinking this was automatic, but now I am getting the doubt I might not be. I do have a National Insurance number, and a UTR number too. I can't even find anywhere to double check I am registered as Self Employed!

I think the "small profits threshold" for both tax years 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 was £6,725
Therefore last year when you earned under £6,000 you were not automatically credited with class 2 NIC's but could pay voluntary class 2 NIC's (as the profit was below £6,725)
And in the most recent tax year where you earned £8,000 (which is above the £6,725) you are being treated as having paid class 2 NIC's
There is a table explaining when class 2 NIC's are payable (half way down the page)

Yes, but then, I am automatically registered for the purposes of Class 2 NICs? because that is the question, to know if I have to do something else or just submitting the self-assessment is enough.0
