Separating and splitting assets, remortgaging, pensions

Hello All
New to all of this and hoping for some general pointers. My partner and I are separating (filed for DIY divorce 3 weeks ago). We are amicable and want to sort things out as simply as possible.
We own our house worth 300k. We have no children and have both worked in similarly paid jobs. However their pension is a police defined benefit one whilst mine is defined contribution. I do have an old defined benefit pension but I came out of this a few years ago (after it has been frozen about 12 years ago).
I need to buy them out of the home but also know I probably need to top my pension up. I am looking for probably an independent pension advisor to that I can work out what I need to pay in to increase what I will have coming out when I retire. I've tried a few advertising on line but no-one has been able to help, I think the divorce and settlement side, plus remortgage is confusing things?
Any pointers gratefully received
