Spectos / Cadooz

Hello, I was hoping for some guidance.  I have been a member of the panel for a couple of years, with no problems.

I collected enough points to convert into £60 of Amazon vouchers, which I thought I did.  However, what they sent was 2 x £3.00 vouchers.  I accepted them thinking they were going to send the remainder, but unfortunately not.

I have tried chasing this with both Spectos and Cadooz, but neither are responding.  This happened in September and I am getting to the point of accepting the loss, which would be a real shame - I don't think people can stomach that financial loss easily nowadays, anyway, I can't!

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do next?  I gave both organisations the relevant numbers, but nothing.  Is there a specific email address I should be addressing my concerns to?

Have you checked cadooz to make sure what amounts you actually ordered? 

Just in case the rest is sitting there waiting to be turned into another gift card. It’s not the easiest site to use.

if you’ve transferred all your points from spectos to cadooz, I can’t see that Spectos has any further responsibility.

Go to this page. if you still have the email from when Spectos sent your rewards code, there will be a link on there. Otherwise type it – it won’t let me put a clickable link on here.
Use the go to shop button and in the top right corner there’ll be a symbol that looks like a pile of coins. That is your account and will tell you if there’s any money still sitting there waiting to be converted to vouchers 

when you convert to vouchers, you need to make sure that you pick the UK version - I’ve just had a quick look and it is only showing Amazon offering £3 vouchers. So it is possible you ordered two of those by mistake.

If you still have the emails from Spectos you can click on the link and enter the code. It will tell you if you have any credit left on it.

I found the page - I can't seem to snip and attach to the thread.  It states that I have no codes to redeem and my credit is £0.

Redeem GiftCard in 4 steps

1. Enter GiftCard code
2. Choose your reward
3. Enter delivery address
4. Receive your reward by post or E-Mail

0.00 £

When I check the delivery status, it says that I was delivered 1 x 
1x Amazon.co.uk 3,00 GBP (2 separate emails)

I am assuming that this is lost to me.  Truly sad.  I must admit that I am doubting whether I wish to continue with this programme if no-one is willing to help and assist.  Thank you again for your help and consideration.

Have you tried this? Vouchers are valdi for about 3 years.

Hi, yes I have clicked on this and it says I have no credit.  Its as if I used my 2500 points to purchase a voucher for £3.00, when it should have been a £25 voucher.

But have you actually gone onto the Cadooz page itself and checked any remaining credit on there? Not just via the link on the email,

I am also a little confused as how you’ve managed to get £60 worth of vouchers as per your OP because I thought Spectos only redeemed in multiples  of £25.

Spectos take forever to reply but I would suggest that you need to doublecheck the amount Spectos did send you, and then carry on chasing it up with Cadooz. You might find that a negative review on their trust pilot page gets a slightly quicker response.

I have done as suggested.  Interestingly, I found a post on Trust Pilot by someone who had exactly the same problem as me on 2 April 2024, in that his 1 x 2,500 voucher was converted to 1 x £3.00 with Amazon.  Unfortunately, Trustpilot do not give outcomes.  What is clear is that others have waited for months for the issues to be resolved.  I will persevere.
