I’m completing my 2024-25 tax return. I sold a buy to let property in November and made a CGT payment. Where do I record the payment on my tax return?

You enter the UK residential property gain already reported in box 9 (of the supplementary pages SA108) and then capital gains tax already paid in box 10:

The box numbers should be the same - have you even ticked the box that asks if you have gains?GlasgowExpat2 said:

Then you need to add the SA108 pages to your online return.
If you go back to the page on your online return where you select which supplementary pages you need you will see the box to select where you have capital gains.
This will then add the SA108 supplementary pages to your online return so you can complete them as part of your online return.
