Hi all,
Posting again as there was two letters and got told to post them separately.
I received a County Court Claim Form from the Civil
National Business Centre, issued on 12/9/2025. The Claimants are
Vehicle Control Services Ltd/. The claim is being handled by
DCB Legal.
Particulars of Claim (Vehicle Control Services):
- The Defendant (D) is indebted to the Claimant (C) for a Parking Charge(s) (PC) issued to vehicle XXXXXXX at Media City, Salford, M50 2EQ.
- The dates of contravention are 16/05/2025, 18/05/2025 and the D was issued with PC(s) by the Claimant.
- The Defendant is pursued as the driver of the vehicle for breach of the terms on the signs (the contract). Various reasons including 40) Parked In A Disabled Space Without Clearly Displaying A Valid Disabled Persons Badge.
- In the alternative the Defendant is pursued as the keeper pursuant to POFA 2012, Schedule 4.
AND THE CLAIMANT CLAIMS
- £340.00 being the total of the PC(s) and damages.
- Interest at a rate of 8.00% per annum pursuant to s.69 of the County Courts Act 1984 from the date hereof at a daily rate of £0.06 until judgment or sooner payment.
- Costs and court fees.
It must have been at least two or three tickets that I ignored (I have always ignored private car parks fines and never had any issues). One was disabled bay and the other on loading bay.
I’ve already filed an Acknowledgment of Service online for both.
I really need your help! Please advise on what to do next. I checked the newbies posts but I'm not sure what to put down as my argument.
Thanks in advance

With an issue date of 12/09/25 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 17/09/25 and before 01/10/25 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 15/10/25 0 -
Why was the driver in an accessible bay?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
