I worked in the USA during the 80s and paid federal and state (California) taxes. How do I claim any pension due?

Depending on how long you worked there you may not be entitle to any pension, similar to the minimum 10 qualifying years required to get any UK state pension
ETA: did you contribute to a company/private pension as well while working there?0 -
Could try the UK Government's International Pension Centre
