SW Annuity Payslip

Tenth Anniversary 100 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker

I took out a Scottish Widows annuity some months back. Although I got a P60 (printed) at the end of the tax year, I'm not receiving monthly payslips. Is this right?

    Yes, I dont receive payslips for either of my annuities.

    They are often available upon request but typically there is no need as the gross amount will be the same (apart from any annual indexing).  

    For most people, they are a complete waste of time, which is why they stopped issuing them.  The P60 is the only mandatory item.

    You can see the gross amount and tax paid on your personal tax account.

    Wish someone would have a word with Standard Life - monthly postal payslips for an annuity and a pension in drawdown (in separate envelopes, natch).

    No way to turn them off apparently.
