OR notifying Landlord of bankruptcy

Of more importance is that with the husband may well be discharged in a year and BR SOA is fairly generous.
Muck around with the OR in any way and discharge can be extended, or the debtor required to give a bankruptcy undertaking. You really don't want either a BRU or BRO on your public record. Means that not only do you have money problems, you've also been dishonest.
@hamsandwich26 Do that SOA fairly promptly and if you like post it here. People working in the industry can't disclose the limits but some folk here will tell you that "Time to cut the ciggies, you could add some of that cost to clothing, and medical and dental without causing problems", for example.
Also prime your husband to ask what the situation is regarding your new child.
And tell him to be brutally honest about sticking his head in the sand etc. The OR wants to understand how the situation occurred, what has been done to avoid a repeat, and total honesty. They've seen it all before and at £100k debt no creditors would bankrupt a renter except HMRC.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
