No More until needed

I have over the last 5 years lost over 3 stone in weight. This has led me buying a lot of new clothes and also with a lot of clothes that do not fit me anymore.

I am selling on v . Also buy my new clothes from discount sites or show.  Now I need to sort out what I have., and not buy anymore clothes until I need them.

I will post on here any clothes I sell or donate to the charity shop.

I challenged myself not to have any new or second hand clothes this year. I haven't missed shopping. I'm never short of anything to wear.
I've discarded a few worn out items but my wardrobe is still bursting.  I may extend the challenge and see how I get on.

My OH just does not get this concept.  I keep telling him I'm trying to lose a bit of weight (he should too....) and so will make do with what I have unless there's an exceedingly good reason to get something.  And I keep trying to go through my piles of stuff and think "do I still like this? do I want to wear it or am I just putting it on as it's on the top of the heap of clothes that are clean?"   I know I can do good clearouts - I do it every couple of months - but just need to push to get started. 

Change of season is a good reason - all those summer tops that never made it out into the sunshine - do I need them?  And where are those thicker warmer things I need for the coming months???

I'd love to join. I did the trick of turning all my clothes hangers the other way back in January with the idea that I would sell the things I hadn't worn by the end of the year - however some things are dresses that I would only ever wear for a smart party etc - and those are few and far between these days so I can probably let them go. 

I've also been selling my son's bits that's he's grown out of, but that doesn't really count to this challenge!
