Can I ask a question please?
I went into my local Boots (really small place) and saw the Christmas gifts in the sale. They had green 3 for 2 Christmas parcel stickers on them but also said half price. I took 3 of them to the till and politely asked as they had the stickers on did the 3 for 2 still work PLUS the half price offer. The checkout bloke (who is also the Pharmacist) said in a loud voice "Look at the sign over there - it clearly states half price - THAT'S what it is - half price!".
He didn't "bip" the items to double check for me so I just put them back and bought something else.
Question I want to know is - is this right, can you have only 1 or the other (3 for 2 OR half price).
Thanks for any replies. All credit cards paid off.

i think its still 3 4 2 but then again i have seen staff removing the parcel labels. how rude of the bloke though. id have said 'how rude are you!' and walked off, then shame on him.A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j0 -
Hi
I phoned both of my local stores to see when they would start the 75% off but was told by 1 that they hadn't been told that they were going to do this and the manager of the other seemed equally vague. They say that head office never tells them anything until the last minute and they are fed up with being the last to know!!
Doesn't help though as I want some bits that are out of stock online0 -

Thanks for the quick replies.
Yes, he was rude - but he's so camp and over the top that it actually amuses me rather than annoys me - I just walk off chuckling.
Shame te 2 offers don't work together - now that would be a bargain. All credit cards paid off.
