Yes it was i won't be going to her again. You may have seen me then if you saw a small woman in a long red coat (why do i make myself stick out? they are more likely to remember me doh) with a toddler crying and me telling him to shh and making a complete show of herself then it was me. My mum had found a reduced battery charger and some batteries so she went to buy them 1. without checking the ACM and 2. without checking with me to make sure she had done it right which she hadn't i ran up to her as soon as i saw her at the photo counter but i was too late. I started talking ( i didn't know at the time) quite loudly saying ''mum why do you panic when you see a good deal? why didn't you check ACM for min spend? why didn't you spilt the goods into 3 £5 you would have got 3 vouchers why didn't you wait for me etc after i stopped i looked around to find everyone starring and listening to this mad woman telling her mum off:rotfl:

I really want one of thoses highlights the peach one looks really nice.

Scrappy mad there isn't any clearance shelfs thats why you haven't seen them. From time to time burton had one near the photo counter but quite rare and last time i went to derby it was just a few odd things on a random shelf.

I called both the Deepdale store and the Fishergate one yesterday....both fobbed me off with "we haven't been informed by the management team yet....so we don't know anymore than you do".

Ha ha - they just want the bargains to themselves! Although last year, I remember the staff on the till looking surprised at the bargains and talking about going to look as soon as it was their break, so maybe they really don't know.

I've booked dh to take me in on Monday so will be back mid-morning to report on findings!

because i have not got a car my friend has booked monday off now, does anyone if arndale or traford boots 75% off dates, even bury or oldham, i'm praying with all my heart at least two will be monday, if anyone knows please tell me. tia

I'm gonna have a couple of hours off work on Monday morning to go to Fishergate too (so are a few of my collegues who I've managed to convert into Bootsers!).

(BTW - no sign of any magazines yesterday.. will check AGAIN at lunchtime)

as far as i know from wot i read on here the arndale 1 starts monday not sure bout the others

Just phoned Castlepoint (bournemouth) and was told 75% sale starts 15 Jan.

Nobody knows when it starts in the Bournemouth branch according to the girl I spoke to there!

Boscombe branch "doesn't know at the moment"
