I bought no7 self tan wipe sachet reduced to 50p today and got the no7 high light powder free using the mag coupon.
Have used it also on £2 reduced lipstick etc-happy bargain hunting.

I bought a tan wipe:mad: and got the High Light powder free too so I passed this good news onto a customer BUT one of the SAs who has worked there for 30 years told me I wasn't allowed to do it with tan wipes but I told her that there aren't any exclusions stated. So she went and got the No7 counter manager who told the lady I was serving that the No7 wipes are being discontinued so she is taking them off the shelves after I finished my sale. How mean!

Have you checked with your local branch that the sale will be on Monday?

The 75% sale starts on Tuesday 15th but some branches are starting the sale either a day earlier or a day later. Its really up to the Regional Manager as to when. So I would ring and check:o if was you. I have booked tuesday off as well, but my local boots sale starts on Tuesday as I have phoned about 5 times. Phew

Really? Liverpool Street (London) staff told me last year online went 75% on thr 10th and stores on the 15th, and this year online was going live at 6am on the 9th (as it did) and in stores on Monday 14th...

I've often wondered as I've wandered the aisles bargain spotting what exactly do the mean SAs who put the kibosh on our plots think is going to happen once they've done their deed and saved the company from certain doom at my money saving, glitch spotting, bargain plotting hands?

Are they instantly elevated to Board room status with VIP priviledges, do they get their wings and become Boots Angels to Protect and Serve(Sounds like a cream they sell). Are they treated to dinner at the Ivy, top seats at a West end show and £5000 to spend on a Harvey Nichols spree ?

Or do they get a pat on the back and a sigh of relief from the manager as the No7 lady finally trys to smile but sadly cracks the plaster cast make up on her face and crumbles to dust ?

And me-well I walk through the pile of ashes that is all that is left of her, breath deeply, say a little prayer to plead for forgiveness and..................

walk back round the store and go to a different SA.!!!

Nope. They get no thanks whatsoever.

What really bugs me is that this lady in particular is always moaning about the company, yet she went and did that!

Is anyone having trouble adding to their basket? Even the stuff that is supposedly still "in stock" isn't going in for me.

Yes - I searched for only things in stock - yet every single thing I clicked on refused to add to my basket. :(

  • i think different stores open at different times because the smallish one near me opens at 8.30 and the bigger one at 7.30am so i suppose it depends on the store. maybe theres away to check online

on the boots.com website there's a store locator link at the very bottom (in grey). click on that. then type in ur store/area. a list of stores comes up. press the button which says "locate store" and it gives u all the store info including:

    opening and closing times
    phone number
    address

    hth!
